Who is SmartWebPro? Are you a real agency?
Yes. SmartWebPro is a specialized division of JD Stride Pty Ltd, a registered Australian business operating since 1999.
While this “5-Day” service is new for 2025, our team has over 25 years of experience building enterprise-level software. We are based in Bundoora, Victoria. You are dealing with locals, not an offshore call center.
How can you build a custom site in just 5 days?
It’s not magic; it’s engineering. Traditional agencies start every project with a blank sheet of paper, which takes weeks.
We use a proprietary library of pre-built, high-performance code blocks. We don’t spend time “inventing” the layout; we spend our time customizing the brand, images, and content to fit your business. This efficiency allows us to cut costs and delivery times by 80%.
What is “Static HTML” and why is it better than WordPress?
Most small business websites are built on WordPress, which relies on a complex database. This makes them slow, prone to hacking, and requires constant plugin updates.
A Static HTML site is pure code. It loads instantly (great for Google), it cannot be “hacked” in the traditional sense, and it never “breaks” because of a bad plugin update. It is the gold standard for speed and stability.
Can I edit the website myself?
No – and that is a feature, not a bug. Most business owners break their own sites when they try to edit them.
Instead, we offer a “Done-For-You” service. Included in your monthly care plan is Unlimited Content Edits. If you need to change a price, add a staff member, or update a photo, just email us (or use the Portal). We handle it for you professionally, usually within 24 hours.
What happens after I pay the deposit?
1. You will be instantly redirected to our Client Portal.
2. You will complete the “Smart Brief” (approx 10 mins) where you upload your logo and tell us about your business.
3. Our clock starts! We will build a prototype within 48 hours for your review.
What if I don’t have my logo or images ready?
No problem. Your options are
- Pause the project until you have the logo and images and upload in the portal
- Ask us to find suitable images. We reserve the right to charge if you want our selections changed.
- We use placeholder images until you give us the images that you know you want.
What if I don’t like the design?on’t have my logo or images ready?
We include 2 Rounds of Revisions on Day 4. We will work with you to tweak colors, fonts, and layouts until you are happy. Because we use “Design Sliders” in your brief to understand your taste before we start, we rarely miss the mark.
Do I own my website?
Yes. Once the final balance is paid, you own the HTML code, the images, and the copyright.
If you ever decide to leave SmartWebPro, we will zip up your website files and send them to you. You can host them anywhere else. We do not hold your business hostage.
Is there a contract?
Yes, there is an initial contract to define the work we will do for you. But there is NO lock-in contract for the monthly hosting. You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice.
